A 2002 graduate of the Faculty of Mining at AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, in the field of mining and geology with a specialization in mining geotechnology. In 2002 he began working at Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka SA, where he advanced from intern to mining foreman (steiger) of the extraction division. In 2012 he took a position at PRG Linter SA, initially as mining director and from 2014 as CEO. Artur Wasil also completed postgraduate studies in management of European projects and EU law at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin.
